No origin myth. Just the work, in the order it happened.
Both partners trained at a UHY International member firm, across audit and business advisory. On the advisory side that meant business plans, feasibilities and financial forecasts for large corporates - preparing the numbers other people had to defend, watching from the back of the room as the questions came.
We finished our training at the firm and started our own. Numbers from an accountant, story from a designer, then the raise spent reconciling the two. We did both, so they could not disagree.
The same failures kept appearing: revenue typed in rather than driven, hiring plans detached from the plan they served. Fixing them led to the monthly cadence boards expect, then to valuation and quality of earnings.
Ideate became Number Ninjas: same partners, same files, a better name. 7 services across the US, the GCC and Europe. Every engagement still opens the same way: where does the revenue come from?
